Greenpeace has unveiled a new twist on its campaign to turn AbitibiBowater from a company that destroys forests into one that manages forests responsibly and sustainably. We called on supporters to send text messages directly to Denis Leclerc, AbitibiBowater’s Vice-President of Environment and Sustainability. The action has been a success, with well over hundreds text messages asking Mr. Leclerc to advise AbitibiBowater to protect valuable intact areas of the Boreal Forest.
