Greenpeace opens office in South Africa

This month, Greenpeace opened its first permanent office in Africa with a new continental headquarters in Johannesburg, South Africa and field offices planned in Kinchasa, Democratic Republic of Congo and Dakar, Senegal.

Greenpeace launches national campaign targeting Loblaw

Greenpeace activists launched a national campaign targeting Canada's largest grocer this month by hanging a giant fishing net from a Loblaw store in Toronto. Greenpeace is urging Loblaw to shoulder its share of the responsibility for the decline of fish stocks.

Climate Rescue Station launched against coal in Poland
